What is Walkie?
Walkie is an iPhone screen-time app for dog owners. It keeps the apps you choose paused during your schedule until you meet your daily walking-time goal with a GPS-verified walk.
Which apps can I pause?
You choose apps or categories through Apple’s private Screen Time picker. Walkie never receives the names of those protected selections.
How is a walk verified?
Walkie counts active walking time and checks reliable outdoor GPS movement. At least 20 meters of reliable movement is needed to verify the route. Distance stays recorded, without a mileage target.
Does Walkie collect my data?
Walkie saves your walks and dog profile on your iPhone, with private iCloud sync. It uses limited pseudonymous product and paywall analytics. Dog photos, routes, precise location, and protected app identities are excluded from those analytics. You do not need a Walkie account.
Do I need a subscription?
Yes. A Walkie subscription is required to start walks and unlock your selected apps. You can set up your routine before choosing a plan.
Is Walkie available now?
Not yet. Walkie is in active development for iPhone. Email us to be kept posted as we get closer to release.
